Sasha Mathews is an Intake Specialist for SGGH’s Camp Lejeune team. For over a decade, she has served as an Accredited Veteran Service Officer, specializing in VA disability claims with an interest in and focus on appeals.

In 2019, her experience in the field proved favorable as she was awarded the Veteran Service Officer of the Year. Sasha was also awarded the TVC Excellence and Achievement Award for the same year.

Previously Sasha served as a Veterans’ Court Coordinator. In that role, she oversaw program policy, judicial proceedings, docket management, and treatment programs.

Sasha served in the United States Marine Corps from 2007 to 2011 as an Avionics Technician on the CH-53E at the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing in Miramar, CA.
