Ryan is a rising third year law student at DePaul University College of Law, with plans to graduate in May 2025.
During his first two years of law school, he worked as a consumer financial services and regulatory compliance paralegal at a prominent law firm in Chicago. He assisted with federal civil investigative demands and state investigative subpoena responses across various industries, including debt collection, auto finance, mortgage servicers, commercial sales, and retail gas, electric, and renewable energy suppliers. Ryan provided support in numerous Illinois Commerce Commission matters and played an integral role in settlement negotiations.
Prior to law school, Ryan spent two years working as a personal injury paralegal at one of the largest personal injury law firms in Illinois. He provided litigation and trial support to a team of attorneys, assisting on over 200 cases simultaneously. He gained experience in both state and federal cases, working in various areas of Personal Injury, including sexual assault and abuse, medical malpractice, nursing home injury, toxic torts, pharmaceutical mass torts, products liability, and motor vehicle accidents. He actively supported in the resolution of numerous high value cases, many resulting in seven figure settlements.
Ryan attended Indiana University Bloomington where he obtained his B.A. in Political Science and Economics. During his time at Indiana University, he spent a summer clerking for a personal injury law firm. He also spent two summers as an intern in the finance department of Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.
